While I (a) am not a fan of Christmas and (b) am so over the bird motif in design, I think this “Chimera Holiday Edition” by Peter Eudenbach is kind of awesome. I haven’t seen it in person yet, so this is based on the photo (below). Available mid-November from Artware Editions.

Here’s the official description:
Each Chimera consists of a reflective, glass, turquoise bulb and a pair of cast pewter feet on which to stand. Each of the edition of 100 is signed on the underside by the artist. Overall dimensions are 4″ h. x 3″ x 3″. $150.

When you step off the tiny prop plane that takes you to Vieques from San Juan, and you happen to be staying at the W, you get to hang out in this chic lounge and grab a drink and a delicious snack — provisions for the long, arduous, five minute drive to the resort.
